The Honourable Jane Philpott, Minister of Health, along with other officials, will take part in the commemoration of World AIDS Day and the launch of Aboriginal AIDS Awareness Week.
The itinerary of events includes:
Ottawa, Ontario
8:00 – 9:00 a.m. (EST): Minister Philpott will be joined by the Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, Kamal Khera, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health, MP Randy Boissonnault, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister on LGBTQ2 issues, Assembly of First Nations (AFN) National Chief Perry Bellegarde and Dr. Julio Montaner, Director of the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS, to receive a Rapid HIV Test and a tour of the Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health.
