system: industry weighs in" - Survey results/

MONTREAL, Oct 4 /CNW Telbec/ - The partners of Rendez-vous du Savoir are pleased to invite the media to a press conference on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. during which Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, and Jean-Marc Léger, President of Léger Marketing, will present the results of a survey on industry's opinion of the knowledge economy and industry-university collaboration. Sponsored by the Board of Trade and conducted in partnership with Léger Marketing, this survey and its results will be presented at the first edition of the Rendez-vous du Savoir, to be held on October 20 and 21.

The two Rendez-vous spokespersons, Monique F. Leroux, President and CEO of Desjardins Group, and Dr. Pavel Hamet, senior professor in the Department of Medicine at the Université de Montréal and the Canada Research Chair in Predictive Genomics, will speak.

The other Rendez-vous partners will also participate in the press conference:

Gérald Tremblay, Mayor of Montréal;
Manon Barbe, Chair, Conférence régionale des élus (CRÉ) de Montréal and Mayor of LaSalle;
Jacques St-Laurent, President and CEO, Montréal International;
