OTTAWA, Nov. 17, 2016 /CNW/ - The Honourable Jane Philpott, Federal Minister of Health and the Honourable Dr. Eric Hoskins, Ontario Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, will host an Opioid Conference and Summit in Ottawa, Ontario, to bring together regulators and key stakeholders to discuss the current opioid crisis in Canada and identify a path forward.

As space is extremely limited, media wishing to attend the conference in person for the full day must RSVP to Health Canada at 613-957-2983 in advance, in order to receive an invitation.
Proper accreditation will be required.
Media can also participate by following the live broadcast. The conference agenda is available online.
All media are invited to a media availability with Minister Philpott and Minister Hoskins at 11:45 am EDT.
Cameras only are invited to obtain B-Roll footage between 8:00 am and 9:00 am EDT.
