TORONTO, Feb. 27, 2014 /CNW/ - A Canadian-led ground-breaking study into the prevention of colon cancer recurrence could potentially change the way cancer is treated by adding exercise to standard treatments. But more colon cancer survivors are needed to participate in a long-term clinical trial called CHALLENGE. As core funder of the study, the Canadian Cancer Society is promoting the opportunity for eligible colon cancer survivors to participate in the clinical trial and contribute to improved survival and better quality of life for future patients.
