LONGUEUIL, QC, May 6, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) would like to advise road users that the A-15, in Montreal at the Champlain Bridge exit, will be completely closed to traffic at night, in order to set up the first phase of reconstruction work on the Main Viaduct.

Reconstruction of Main Viaduct: lane deviation and reductions
The reconstruction of the Main Viaduct will require occasional night closures to set up the various work phases, but will not result in any long-term closures on the A-15.
Many efforts have been made during the planning to maintain the same number of lanes currently open on the A-15, i.e. two lanes open per direction, while this work takes place.
However, mobilizing this worksite will require the current lane width to be reduced. As a result, motorists should expect lane reductions and lane deviation around the worksite on the A-15 beginning on May, 12.
To better understand the work plan and the various worksite phases, we invite you to watch this video, which also shows the reconstruction of viaducts N and V.
