OTTAWA, Oct. 10, 2013 /CNW/ - The Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, will be in New York to participate in events marking the second International Day of the Girl. The Minister will be hosting a meeting of girl activists at the United Nations, entitled "Girls Speak Out", co-sponsored by Canada, Peru and Turkey and deliver the Canada Statement at the United Nations General Assembly's 3^rd Committee.
