/R E P E A T -- Status of Women Canada - Media Advisory/

OTTAWA, Jan. 9, 2014 /CNW/ - The Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, will announce Government of Canada support for a project to address violence against women and girls in Surrey, British Columbia and the surrounding Fraser Valley area. Minister Leitch will be accompanied by Nina Grewal, Member of Parliament for Fleetwood-Port Kells.

Minister Leitch and other event participants will be available for a photo op and to answer media questions following the press conference.
