a pedestrian-only day, featuring a multitude of magical activities and
entertainment for the whole family!!!/

MONTREAL , Nov. 17 /CNW Telbec/ - Plaza St-Hubert's Société de développement commercial (SDC) invites all families to come and see the real Santa Claus and all the wonderful floats at their traditional Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 28th at 11:00 am , on St-Hubert Street, between Bellechasse and Jean-Talon. To celebrate the fifth anniversary of this colourful event, St-Hubert Street will remain closed to traffic until 5:00 pm . Come join in the festive holiday atmosphere at Plaza St Hubert, meet the one and only Santa Claus in his Kingdom, and enjoy plenty of fun activities for the whole family.

"Since its creation five years ago, our Christmas Parade has been a resounding success, and every year we enrich our programming to make this exceptional family event a must for all. Continuing in this spirit, we wanted to offer something more this year, so families strolling the street could enjoy the variety of activities and entertainment in an area specifically designed for little ones and their parents", explains Mike Parente , Executive Director of the SDC.

The Christmas Parade: extending the festive and magical atmosphere!

Our traditional Christmas Parade will start at the corner of St-Hubert and Bellechasse Streets on Saturday, November 28th at 11:00 am . Children of all ages will marvel at the majestic floats, tap their toes to the rhythm of music and folk groups, light up at the sight of numerous super heroes, and heartily welcome the one and only Santa Claus of Santa's Village, as well as the Fairy Princess, who will meet children after the parade in their Kingdom until 4:00 pm . The Parade will end at the intersection of St-Hubert and Jean Talon Streets, but the fun and games will continue until 5:00 pm .

Once again this year, Plaza St-Hubert's SDC is partnering with the Children's Wish Foundation for the annual Christmas Parade. To raise awareness about how important wishes are in providing hope and help to heal sick children, The cause will be front row centre throughout the course of this fabulous family celebration. Created in 1984, the Children's Wish is a national, non-profit organisation dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of children suffering from high-risk, life-threatening illnesses. Since its inception, Children's wish has fulfilled almost 15,000 wishes across Canada , including 900 wishes annually, and nearly 300 in Quebec alone. These two organisations have collaborated for two years, during which time several Plaza merchants have played their part in fulfilling many children's wishes.
