Throughout The Festival, Pizza Nova's Taste Patrol team, (uniformed Pizza Nova employees driving a Pizza Nova branded vehicle, will be sampling over 15,000 delicious slices to TIFF patrons waiting in line at several high-traffic TIFF Theatre locations such as Roy Thompson Hall, TIFF Bell Lightbox, The Princess of Wales Theatre and the VISA Screening Room at the Elgin.

This year the team will be serving up slices of the company's gourmet pizzas including the most recent addition to their menu, the FOCACCIA BARESE™

Focaccia Barese is the particular type of focaccia made famous by the people of Bari, Italy. Like D.O.P, this product and recipe enjoys Protected Geographical Status, a legal framework defined in European Union Law to protect regional foods.

Just a few months ago, Pizza Nova was granted the exclusive legal rights to prepare the protected Focaccia Barese™ recipe for their customers here in Canada. This process commands, among other ingredients and processes, Extra Virgin Olive Oil imported from Bari, Pachino-Style tomatoes, and Roasted Black Olives.

For the past two months, Pizza Nova's Taste Patrol team has made over 40 stops handing out free slices of various gourmet pizza options, and with swag at select locations across the province.
