Mr. Turtle and the Turtles brand celebrate 60 years! Enjoying Turtles(R) chocolates with family and friends has been a Canadian tradition since 1949 - and the always-debonair Mr. Turtle has been the brand ambassador from the start.

Turtles were named by a factory employee who was struck by the candy's resemblance to the real thing. Once they were introduced, the caramel, pecan and milk chocolate treats became an instant favourite with Canadians.

Nestlé Canada takes a walk down memory lane with factory footage, vintage commercials and a special celebration for Mr. Turtle himself.
