MONTREAL, March 9, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Everyone is invited to come to Parc Jean Drapeau for a taste of home-grown products at the Week-ends gourmands event, March 10-11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More than 20 producers will be gathering together to share their passion and their products. There will be something to appease every taste bud!
"For the last time this winter, the food-loving mascot Boule de Neige will be there all weekend to welcome visitors," said Société du parc Jean-Drapeau spokesperson Nathalie Lessard. "People of all ages will be able to enjoy the end of the school break by coming over to indulge in an assortment of flavourful foods and play outdoors at Parc Jean-Drapeau."
Mother Nature permitting, this final weekend of the popular event will be the ideal opportunity to have some fun thanks to the array of winter activities offered by the Parc. These activities include: tube-sliding, zip-line, giant foosball, soccer on snow, and entertainment on site with Boule de Neige and friends. And while they are there, people can also visit the magical Snow Village, which should be open daily until the end of March.
Parc Jean-Drapeau is situated a few minutes from downtown Montréal and the South Shore and it is easy to get to by subway or car. Before leaving for the Parc, people are invited to go to the parcjeandrapeau.com website to check the latest updates on the weekend's activities.
