MONTRÉAL, June 6, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ – Yves-Thomas Dorval, the president and CEO of the Quebec Employers Council, will be moderating a breakfast-conference on June 11 on the issues relating to human capital, matching skills and labour market needs, and business productivity. 

The event is being held in conjunction with the prestigious 2014 International Economic Forum of the Americas Montréal Conference, a world-class event that is in its 20^th year of existence and annually brings together more than 3,000 economic and political decision-makers and 180 speakers from around the world.    

The speakers at this year's breakfast-conference are:

• Sylvain Giguère, the head of the local economic and employment development (LEED)  division, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD);
• Toby Peyton-Jones, human resources director, Siemens United Kingdom and Northwest Europe, and commissioner, UK Commission on Employment and Skills (UKCES);
• Randall W. Eberts, president, W.E. Upjohn Institute For Employment Research;
• Bernard Spitz, president, French Federation of Insurance Companies (FFSA), president, International and Europe, Mouvement des entreprises de France (MEDEF).

At the breakfast-conference, the OECD will present the international findings and the lessons Quebec and Canada can draw from two new studies on the economy, employment and skills strategies which will be made public on this same day – a world premiere – by the organization's secretary-general, Angel Gurría.
