NEW YORK and TORONTO, Nov. 9, 2017 /CNW/ -- Neuberger Berman, a global, independent, employee-owned investment manager, further enhanced its quantitative investment capabilities announcing that Ram Ramaswamy has joined as Managing Director, Head of Investment Solutions for the Neuberger Berman Breton Hill team.
Using the Neuberger Berman Breton Hill research platform, Mr. Ramaswamy will develop portfolio insights and assist clients by providing thoughtful and innovative investment solutions. He will work closely with institutional and high net worth clients, globally, to help them think through and realize their investment objectives. Prior to this role, Mr. Ramaswamy spent 16 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in the Alternative Investments and Manager Selection group. He has an MBA from The Wharton School.
The Neuberger Berman Breton Hill team, based in Toronto, Canada, utilizes rigorous quantitative research and proprietary technology infrastructure informed by deep capital markets experience. Neuberger Berman Breton Hill's investment solutions range across the risk and return spectrum, with a focus on alternative risk premia and investment solutions spanning equities, currencies, commodities and rates. The group manages capital for a diverse investor base comprised of institutions, ultra-high net worth individuals and retail investors across various vehicles. The team manages approximately $2 billion in quantitative strategies and has 15 investment professionals.
