Raymond James sponsors Prostate Cancer Foundation BC for BC Father's Day Walk/Runs

VANCOUVER, Jan. 28, 2015 /CNW/ - Raymond James Canada and Prostate Cancer Foundation BC are proud to announce that Raymond James will be the new Presenting Sponsor of The Father's Day Walk/Run. This annual event supports Prostate Cancer Foundation BC and its mandate "to provide leadership and resources for prostate cancer support, education and research in BC".

The  Father's Day Walk/Run  takes place on Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Metro Vancouver, Victoria, Chilliwack, Kamloops and Kelowna. The event attracts serious runners and fun-loving families who join together to help raise awareness and much needed  funds for prostate cancer. Leah Lariviere, Executive Director of the Foundation, states "The Father's Day Walk/Run has been a signature event of the Foundation for 16 years.  Its ongoing success is due to the tremendous support we receive from  our sponsors, volunteers and participants. With Raymond James as our Presenting Sponsor, we look forward to making this year's Walk/Run another  important step forward to provide critical support to the many individuals and families living with prostate cancer in BC."

Giving back into the communities where they live and work is a key value for the people of Raymond James.
