TORONTO, Feb. 5, 2016 /CNW/ - The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) will be hosting a unique Career Expo at the University of Guelph Humber located at 207 Humber College Blvd., Toronto, ON, from 9 am to 2 pm, on Saturday, February 27^th. 

This special recruiting event is designed to provide applicants with an opportunity to learn about a career in policing with the RCMP and explore some of the 150 different career specializations that the RCMP has to offer. Attend and speak one-on-one with officers from Recruiting, to find out more about a career with the RCMP. Officers from various specialized units will be on site from the Explosive Disposal Unit, Tactical Troop, Marine Security Enforcement Team and many more. 

It's not just a uniform; it is a symbol of community. A uniform with your name on it is waiting for you. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police offers an exceptional career, letting you make a real difference in your community and your country. No other police force in Canada provides the levels of services and variety offered by the RCMP, as well as opportunities for continued learning and growth. 

The RCMP is looking for people who are responsible, respectful, professional, compassionate, and honest who have integrity. Once training is successfully completed, a new member will be posted to one of our 750 detachments across the country.
