RCMP lay Charges for Marijuana Grow Operation

LONDON, ON, Feb. 18 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, February 17th, 2010 members of London RCMP Detachment, in partnership with members of the London Police Service Drug Unit executed a search warrant at 129 Emerson Avenue in London. Police seized 23 marihuana plants, a quantity of Oxycodone and 150 grams of marihuana.

The RCMP have charged Joanne MONK, 62 years and Vernon MONK, 70 years, of Emerson Avenue, London with cultivation of marihuana, possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of Oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
