VANCOUVER, Aug. 2, 2018 /CNW/ - The Real Estate Council of British Columbia has suspended the real estate licences of Tejwant Danjou and Sutton Group Proact Realty. Effective immediately, Mr. Danjou and Sutton Group Proact Realty are prohibited from providing real estate services to, or on behalf of, any member of the public.
The Council has suspended the licences because Mr. Danjou is currently unable to manage the business and affairs of his brokerage, as required by the Real Estate Services Act and the Rules. Upon reviewing the evidence, the Council determined that the rights of the brokerage clients must be protected and concluded that allowing the situation to continue would undermine public confidence in the real estate industry and its regulation.
The licence suspensions remain in effect until further notice.
Concerned clients of Mr. Danjou and Sutton Group Proact Realty should contact the Real Estate Council of BC by email at [email protected].
