CALGARY, July 16, 2018 /CNW/ - Ernst & Young Inc., in its capacity as Court-appointed Monitor (the "Monitor") of Walton PS Industrial Ltd. ("PSI") and Walton Ontario Land 1 Corporation ("Ontario Land") is seeking proposals for the sale of, or investment in certain industrial lands located in Edmonton, Alberta and certain pre-development lands located near Ottawa, Ontario pursuant to a Sale and Investment Solicitation Process approved by Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta on June 28, 2018 (the "2018 SISP").
The 2018 SISP is intended to solicit interest in an acquisition, investment in, restructuring or refinancing of the business or a sale of assets and/or the businesses of PSI and Ontario Land.
Key milestones of the 2018 SISP are as follows:
- Phase 1 Non-Binding LOI Deadline – August 23, 2018
- Phase 2 Binding Bid Deadline – September 13, 2018
- Closing Dates – October 31, 2018
A Confidential Information Memorandum ("CIM") has been prepared by the Monitor in consultation with PSI and Ontario Land. The CIM is available to those parties that have expressed a desire to participate in the 2018 SISP and have delivered to the Monitor a non-disclosure agreement ("NDA") in a form acceptable to the Monitor. Parties that previously executed an NDA during the sales process carried out in 2017 are not required to execute a separate NDA for the 2018 SISP.
