Chairman Emeritus of the Realex Properties Corp. Board of Directors

CALGARY , Feb. 12 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of Realex Properties Corp. ("Realex" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that Mr. Harold Milavsky has been appointed as Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Directors of Realex, effective February 11, 2010 . In connection with his appointment as Chairman Emeritus , Mr. Milavsky has resigned from the Board of Directors and his position as Chairman of the Board. As Chairman Emeritus , Mr. Milavsky will remain involved with the Board and with Realex as an important voice and contributor. He will continue to provide the company with important guidance and leadership befitting his extensive industry experience and insights as co - founder of Realex.

Mr. Milavsky has over 40 years experience in the real estate industry having served as President/CEO of Trizec Corporation (1976-1986) and Chairman (1986-1993). He has sat on or continues to sit on a number of Public Corporation and Non-Profit boards. Among many honours, Mr. Milavsky was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws from both the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Calgary , a recipient of the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants Lifetime Achievement Award and a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
