Rebuilding Communities by Eliminating Bullying
CALGARY, March 6, 2014 /CNW/ - Bullying is a Global issue that concerns not only the youth in our communities; it's something that affects everyone - parents, teachers, adults, friends and families. It's the leading issue today facing young children, teenagers, even employees in the most trusted Corporations. In a classroom of 35 students, between 10 and 16 children are bullying others, or are being bullied themselves. The statistics are similar for people in the workplace of most North American companies. Many observe bullying and know it is going on but don't know how to eliminate it. KG Productions Inc. is dedicated to eliminate the problem before our children enter the workforce.

Kerry Girling - owner of KG Productions Inc. has been a youth motivator for well over a decade. He has spoken to over one million students across North America on youth related issues and recently has produced a series of hard-hitting educational anti-bullying films and documentaries to help shine some light on the issue and help educators eliminate the problem altogether. Bullying can have serious, harmful and long-lasting psychological effects if not dealt with properly. The resources are geared for elementary, junior high and high school students and have already made an incredible impact within over 10,000 North American schools.
Girling says, "Most of my life I've feared being Native Métis. I grew up in a community where my culture was frowned upon. I have African American friends that feel the same living in the Suburbs. I've finally come to terms with bullying, what it is and why it happens, and my goal is to make a positive difference." Now Girling wants to spread his message to everyone - bullies, victims, parents and educators. It's something that really needs attention.
"Bullying leaves people in a state of devastation forcing them to give up on their dreams. I hear stories of abuse and suicide almost every day in the media. It's getting out of control. In the end, it leaves people feeling worthless. When it comes to bullying, everyone has a story to tell." Girling says.
KG Productions Inc. is committed to getting their educational videos into the hands of every teacher in Canada. They believe their hard-hitting videos will eliminate the issue for good.
