Record-Low RV Prices Make for the Perfect Family Vacation
Celebrate Family Day by Planning an RV Family Vacation
OTTAWA, Feb. 16, 2012 /CNW/ - Go RVing Canada is celebrating Family Day with RV prices remaining stable at record-lows. In uncertain economic times, RVing offers families fun, flexible and affordable options for family vacations.
"Family Day is a wonderful time to sit down with your family and talk about the upcoming holidays," said Go RVing Canada National Spokesperson Alana Fontaine. "An RV holiday is the perfect way to stay connected with your family while maximizing your vacation budget."
There is an RV to fit every lifestyle and budget, and stable prices further add to the affordability of the RV lifestyle, making an RV purchase a realistic opportunity for even more Canadian families. RVs offer economy not found in any other vacation option.
Go RVing Canada recently released the results of a cost comparison study conducted by PKF Consulting, which found that, depending on the model, a typical RV vacation can be up to 78 per cent less expensive per day than any other type of family trip, regardless of trip duration, distance, or location.
After factoring in leasing payments, insurance, maintenance, tires and registration, an RV vacation still works out to be the most economical choice , compared to a traditional vacation for a family of four, when you consider the costs of flights, car rental, hotels and eating out at restaurants.
"Families want to stretch their dollars in tough times, and RV vacations are a great way to do that," said Fontaine. "Not only that, but ninety percent of families agree that RVing is the best way to travel with children. So celebrate Family Day by planning a holiday the whole family will enjoy!"
RV season is in full swing with local RV shows and exhibitions taking place across the country. For a full listing on RV Shows and RVing across Canada, please visit www.GoRVing.ca.
