TORONTO, July 11, 2018 /CNW/ - ReDev Properties managed to maintain its strong start to 2018 with an outstanding performance in Q2.
"All members of our team should be very happy and proud of what was achieved during our most recent quarter," said ReDev Founder and President Richard Crenian. "I believe the company is well positioned to build on those successes and have a fantastic 2018."
Some of the high points from Q2:
- Dixie Road Plaza, Mississauga: completing the sale of the mixed-use plaza to a new ownership group.
- Jacksonport, Calgary: acquiring the much sought-after property in an emerging part of the city. It is currently fully-occupied with tenants and the next phase of construction will result in an additional 26,000-sf of retail space.
- Imperial Square, Guelph: lease contract signed with fast food giant, Taco Bell.
- Kensington Commons, Edmonton: completing a lease agreement with Sherwin-Williams, one of the largest paint distributors in the world.
"Each one of these deals was only possible because the professionals at ReDev were able to complete complex negotiations and leave both sides satisfied," said Richard Crenian.
ReDev Properties hopes the partnerships established with Sherwin-Williams and Taco Bell will evolve and offer fresh opportunities.
One of the most significant announcements for the quarter was the finalization of the Jacksonport acquisition. "This is a very important step for ReDev because for the very first time the company will be involved in the construction of commercial real estate. We are very excited about the chance to break ground in 2019," said Richard Crenian.
