Redknee Solutions Inc. Responds to Valsef Letter
TORONTO, March 27, 2017 /CNW/ - Redknee Solutions Inc. ("Redknee" or the "Company") (TSX: RKN) announces that the Board of Directors of the Company (the "Board") received a letter from Valsef Capital and Valsef Trading. Redknee will hold its Annual and Special General Meeting of shareholders of the Company (the "Meeting") as scheduled on Wednesday March 29th at 10am.
Neil Chander has withdrawn his candidacy as a nominee for the election of directors at the Meeting. The Company has also been advised that Invesco Canada Limited intends to nominate Keith Graham as a director to the Board at the Meeting. Mr. Graham is the founder of Rondeau Capital Inc. and has more than 25 years of senior level investment management experience. Mr. Graham is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, and earned an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. The members of the Company's Nomination and Governance Committee have met with Mr. Graham and are supportive of his nomination. Additionally, ESW Capital has informed the Company that they intend to vote for the election of Mr. Graham.
