Redline Adds Industry Knowledge, Governance Expertise and Entrepreneurial
Experience to its Board of Directors

TORONTO, Oct. 13 /CNW/ - Redline Communications Group Inc. ("Redline") (TSX: RDL), a leading global supplier of specialized broadband wireless systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of four independent Directors, Frank DiTomasco, FCA, Skuli Mogensen, Rob Follows and Rob Soni, to its Board of Directors. They join Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien of Telemedia, and Eric Melka, acting CEO, Redline Communications.
Frank DiTomasco, FCA, a chartered accountant since 1972, is a consulting partner with accounting firm Chabot Grant Thorton where he has worked since 1981. Most recently he was Managing Partner Audit - Public companies, and a member of the board of the Chartered Accountants of Québec. Frank is a staunch supporter of education around standards for ethical behaviour in finance and he spent many years as a member of the Code of Ethics Working Group of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec, and of the Ethics Standards Harmonization Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
Skuli Mogensen was the co-founder, CEO and President of OZ Communications Inc., a leading consumer mobile messaging solution provider acquired by Nokia in November 2008. A seasoned executive with over 15 years of broad business experience in the technology, telecom and venture capital industries, Mr Mogensen is an active speaker on both sides of the Atlantic and he has been recognized as one of Europe's top entrepreneurs based on his work at OZ Communications and through his involvement in the start-up of several companies in the telecom field, including Og Vodafone in Iceland and Arctic Ventures in Stockholm. Currently Skúli is an active investor and board member of Carbon Recycling International, CAOZ, and iPerceptions among others.
Following the sale of his award winning Canadian promotional marketing agency, AIM (Active Impression Marketing Inc.), to Maritz Inc., in 1992 Rob Follows formed and remains Chairman Emeritus of Maritz Canada Inc. Rob is also the founder of Altruvest Charitable Services, a registered Canadian charity founded in 1994. Altruvest is focused on giving capacity building tools to charities for free to increase their charitable capacity to give more of donors' donations to their good causes. Rob has recently launched STS Capital Partners an international boutique investment banking firm specializing in mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance for small and mid-market companies in the USA, Canada, Latin America, Caribbean, Asia, and Europe.
Rob Soni graduated from Harvard College with an AB. Rob then joined the Boston Office of the Boston Consulting Group before joining Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP) where he rose to Managing General Partner. After BVP, Rob joined Matrix Partners where he is currently. Rob has been and continues to be an investor and Director at numerous technology companies. Rob is married with two children and resides in the greater Boston area.
