TORONTO, April 28, 2015 /CNW/ - Bring on summer and celebrate everything this long-awaited season has to offer at the 2015 Redpath Waterfront Festival (RWF) June 19-21, 2015. From the kick-off Waterfront Community Parade and Grand Opening Show to the weekend-long celebration including Party on the Promenade, DANCE Pan American Style, DockDogs® Championships, Toronto Wine & Spirit Festival and the Sweetness Pride Beach Party, RWF 2015 will transform Toronto into one of the most sought-after summer destinations for residents and visitors alike.
"This is a pivotal year for the Redpath Waterfront Festival as we proudly welcome the world to our beautifully revitalized Queens Quay Boulevard. The picturesque pedestrian promenade, waterfront connection to the Martin Goodman Trail, free general admission and a complementary trolley to transport guests to all the activities are just some of the factors that make this year's Festival one of Toronto's most inviting, inclusive outdoor events" says Nancy Gavin, President of Water's Edge Festivals & Events.

A spectacular water's edge elevated floating stage sets the scene for the Grand Opening Show and Celebration at 9:00 p.m., with performances by celebrity dancers Blake McGrath, Trevor Tordjman and his crew from the hit TV show The Next Step and everyone will enjoy the Alakazam buskers.
We're just getting started
There is an entire weekend of fun things to see and do for all ages including the Waterfront Artisan Market where you can shop for handmade crafts and unique gifts and plenty of tantalizing tastes from some of Toronto's famed food trucks.
