QUÉBEC CITY, Sept. 18, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - A regional preparatory meeting of the Regional Air Transport Summit took place today in Kuujjuaq, bringing together some twenty or so representatives from Nunavik's northern villages and health, tourism and business communities.
Mr. Guy Bourgeois, MNA for Abitibi-Est, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources and Minister Responsible for the Northern Plan and co-chair of the Summit, was on hand to hear the discussions about the three major regional air transport issues: airfares, service quality and airport infrastructures. The discussions were jointly organized by the ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification des transports and the Société du Plan Nord.
