Registration Now Open for ESG's 8th Microseismic Symposium
KINGSTON, Ontario, Dec. 21, 2018 /CNW/ -- ESG Solutions (ESG), a leading provider of passive microseismic monitoring solutions to the mining and geotechnical industries, is excited to announce the 8th edition of its popular Microseismic Symposium. The symposium, which targets ground control, geotechnical specialists and mine engineering professionals, will be held in Kingston, Ontario, Canada on June 9 to 11, 2019.
The Microseismic Symposium features technical presentations from mine operators, academia and other experts in the field - as well as ESG's microseismic experts.
Themes to be covered in the conference include:
- Seismic analysis for the characterization of rock mass behaviour
- Hazard assessment using seismic and other geotechnical data
- Advances in integration of geotechnical data
- Seismic insights for ground support assessment and monitoring
Along with technical presentations, ESG specialists will carryout a half-day, hands-on workshop on ESG's latest microseismic acquisition hardware and software – including best practices, tips and tricks. As in the past, ESG will host social activities during the event (details to follow).
