Learn how to get ahead of the economic recovery with real estate investing
VANCOUVER, Jan. 12, 2017 /CNW/ - After a year of devastating economic turmoil affecting many Albertans, which was capped off by the introduction of tighter mortgage qualification requirements, Edmonton homeowners and real estate investors are searching for clarity about their real estate market. As part of their twenty-fifth anniversary, the Real Estate Investment Network (REIN) is hosting a free public meeting to share insights and answers on the Edmonton real estate market - What's Important Now (W.I.N.) with Real Estate.
Albertans are still battling the economic downturn, and now have new challenges to overcome given the new mortgage rules. The real estate market is a lagging economic indicator. As the Alberta economy begins to recover, with improving GDP, the real estate market will follow 18 to 24 months later.
Albertan real estate investors and buyers must look to the future, not the past, to succeed in real estate. To help Albertans look through the windshield, not the rearview mirror, REIN is providing rare access to their senior team. Sharing information, insights and strategies for homeowners and investors are Patrick Francey, CEO of the Real Estate Investment Network; Jared Hope, Owner of Landlord Resource Center; and Don R. Campbell, Canada's best-selling real estate author for over a decade.
REIN experts will provide a deeper understanding of:
Edmonton's market has outperformed the Calgary market for the last two years. REIN experts predict this trend will continue, but the gap between the performances of the two cities will narrow. REIN experts believe investors with a minimum, five-year investment window may find strong deals in Edmonton this spring. The research and analysis behind this conclusion, and more, are shared on January 18.
W.I.N. with Real Estate is a free, public event in Edmonton presented by REIN on January 18, 2017 at 6:30 PM MST at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel West Edmonton. Register here to attend.
