TORONTO, June 21, 2017 /CNW/ -
Reliance Home Comfort™ CEO Sean O'Brien has won a Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award recognizing the Highest Rated CEOs for 2017 in the Canada category. Glassdoor, one of the world's largest and fastest growing job sites, released its annual report "Highest Rated CEOs", which highlights top leaders employees love working for in countries throughout North America and parts of Europe.
Among chief executives recognized by employees in Canada, Mr. O'Brien received an impressive 94% approval rating based on the anonymous and voluntary reviews Reliance team members shared on Glassdoor throughout the past year.
"We've built a culture that empowers individuals, recognizes their successes and supports them in every area of the business; I'm very proud to be part of this team," said Sean O'Brien, Reliance's President and CEO. "This recognition is an endorsement from our 1,700 Reliance team members that we are on the right path and our focus contributes to long-term team member engagement and ultimately helps our recruiting and retention efforts."
Reliance's purpose is to become the destination of choice by delivering exceptional experiences for customers seeking comfort in their home and in the workplace. However, their purpose doesn't begin and end with the customer; Reliance is also dedicated to providing a second-to-none workplace environment for current and future team members.
"CEOs tell us the Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award is one of the highest honors they can receive because it truly reflects employee opinion about the job they do every day. I congratulate all of the winners on this significant honor," said Robert Hohman, Glassdoor co-founder and CEO.
When employees submit reviews about their company on Glassdoor, they are asked to rate various factors about their employment experience, including their overall satisfaction and other workplace attributes like senior management. As part of these ratings, employees are also asked to rate whether they approve, disapprove or are neutral about the job their CEO is doing.
Among the 700,000 companies reviewed on Glassdoor, the average CEO approval rating is 67%.
