Relive the Magic: TSN to Broadcast Highlights of Special Olympics Team Canada at 2013 World Winter Games

TORONTO, May 1, 2013 /CNW/ - The 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in PyeongChang, Republic of Korea was one for the record books! Between January 29 and February 5, 2013, Special Olympics Team Canada earned a total of 109 medals - 44 gold, 44 silver and 21 bronze - setting a new national record. Now Canadians can experience these moments for themselves by tuning into TSN on Saturday, May 4 at 4:00 p.m. EST for a broadcast of our athletes' achievements in PyeongChang.

"I am very proud of Special Olympics Team Canada, and what they accomplished together," said Jennifer Campbell, Special Olympics Team Canada's Chef de Mission.  "As athletes and leaders, they took on new challenges fearlessly, and demonstrated to all of us what it means to be dedicated."

In case you miss it the first time around, TSN and TSN2 will be rebroadcasting the show! You can catch it on TSN on Friday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m. EST or TSN2 on Monday, May 6 at 10:30 p.m. EST and Tuesday, May 7 at 4:00 p.m. EST. The show will also be broadcast on RDS, dates still to be determined.
