RE/MAX Welcomes Two New Offices to Mississauga, Ontario
MISSISSAUGA, ON, May 26, 2014 /CNW/ - Today, RE/MAX INTEGRA announced changes to its operations in Mississauga designed to better serve new and future clients across the region, while providing local Sales Associates with access to industry-leading tools, services and support. These changes include the expansion of three RE/MAX brokerages, the opening of two new Mississauga locations, and the closing of the former RE/MAX Legacy Realty brokerage.
The announced plans will see Conrad Zurini of RE/MAX Escarpment Realty Inc. and Raneen Dhadli of RE/MAX Edge Realty Inc. combine their operations into a single brokerage that will service southern Mississauga. The brokerage will operate under RE/MAX Edge Realty Inc. and will open a new office in the southwest corner of the city. Together, Zurini and Dhadli currently operate ten offices in communities stretching from South Etobicoke to Burlington to Stoney Creek.
In addition, Mike Zuccato of RE/MAX Realty Services Inc., who owns and operates three successful locations in the Brampton area, will expand in the north end of Mississauga, where the second new office will be opened.
"Zurini, Dhadli and Zuccato operate each of their brokerages on a foundation of integrity and client service," said Gurinder Sandhu, Executive Vice President, RE/MAX INTEGRA, Ontario-Atlantic Region. "They ensure consumer trust is at the core of their business and we look forward to watching them grow in the region."
As part of this transition, RE/MAX INTEGRA has also announced the termination of its RE/MAX Legacy Realty brokerage. This decision was the result of ongoing and unresolved business issues with the brokerage owner. The brokerage had been in arrears since September 2013 and owed RE/MAX INTEGRA substantial franchise fees.
"While we are excited about our expansion in the region, the closing of RE/MAX Legacy was not an easy decision and we worked tirelessly to find solutions over the past six months," said Walter Schneider, Co-Founder and President, RE/MAX INTEGRA. "We are committed to the success of our Sales Associates and are working hard to ensure they provide a smooth client experience during this transition period."
Both buyers and sellers currently working with agents from the former RE/MAX Legacy Realty Inc. brokerage are able to continue with their agent. Offers previously made by buyers, or accepted by sellers, will proceed as per existing agreements. Buyers currently negotiating are also able to continue with potential purchases unaffected. Home sellers, whose Sales Associate transfers to another RE/MAX brokerage, will be asked by their agent to fill out a form that reassigns their listing to the appropriate new brokerage. Buyers and sellers who find themselves affected by this change, can visit www.reco.on.ca to learn more about what these changes mean for them and their current negotiations and listings.
Consumer trust has always been the cornerstone of the RE/MAX brand. A recent survey, conducted by Marketing Magazine, identified that consumers would agree. The survey appears in the May edition, ranking RE/MAX #28, placing the brand ahead of other trusted companies such as Apple, Amazon, Walmart, Facebook and McDonald's. The survey also indicated that RE/MAX was voted the top real estate brand. RE/MAX continues to be the industry leader with 158 of the top 250 brokerages in Canada belonging to a RE/MAX Broker/Owner.
