Reminder - News Conference - Photo/Filming Opportunity - War Amps "CHAMPS" Set the Bar High at BC Child Amputee Seminar
VICTORIA, March 21, 2014 /CNW/ - Lincoln Davis, 3, was born a left hand amputee, and one-year-old Tytan Beckford, is missing both feet. These young amputees, of Victoria, will be joined by older Champs from across the province, who will show them how to "Set the Bar High" as they demonstrate the limbs and recreational devices they use to overcome their amputations and achieve their goals.

Running March 21 to 23, the seminar will be a life-changing experience for Champs and their parents, covering everything from raising an amputee child, to dealing with teasing and staring, to seeing the latest developments in artificial limbs.
Media are welcome to attend the following sessions, during the weekend. Interviews with the Champs can be arranged at any time.

The War Amps Child Amputee (CHAMP) Program is built on the Winner's Circle philosophy, which encourages child amputees (Champs) to accept their amputations and develop a positive approach to challenges.
