REMINDER - Media advisory - The Alliance for downtown Montreal unveils its ambitious new illumination plan to light up the heart of the city

MONTREAL, June 6, 2022 /CNW/ - The SDC Montréal centre-ville is pleased to invite you to the launch of the Alliance for downtown Montreal on Monday, June 6th at 9:00 a.m.

The main pillars of the  downtown illumination plan will be presented in the presence of Mr. Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy and Innovation and Minister responsible for Regional Economic Development, Mrs. Chantal Rouleau, Minister delegate for Transport and Minister responsible for the Metropolis and the Montréal Region, the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Member of Parliament for Laurier–Sainte-Marie, and Mr. Luc Rabouin, Responsible for economic and commercial development, and design on the Executive Committee of the City of Montreal.

During the event, a special edition of the City Center Report will also be unveiled.

This initiative is a result of the $3.5 million of financial support granted to the SDC Montréal centre-ville by the Ministère de l'Économie et de l'Innovation (MEI), for the downtown recovery and revival efforts.
