MONTREAL, Nov. 15, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Hydro-Québec is pleased to announce that the agreement in principle reached with respect to the early renewal of collective agreements has been ratified by a very large majority of members in the CUPE union coalition. Note that the Syndicat professionnel des ingénieurs d'Hydro-Québec [engineers' union] had already accepted the agreement.
Key elements of the agreement
- Freeze on salaries for 2014 and 2015;
- Implementation of 50/50 sharing of the current service cost of the pension plan;
- Salary increases of 3% in 2016, 2.75% in 2017 and 2.5 % in 2018;
- Elimination of the Régime d'intéressement [incentive plan] in 2014 and partial integration of 4.2% in salary scales, as of January 1, 2015.
