Report Delivered to Executive Board Indicates that Wayne Fraser Has Won
Re-election as USW District Six Director

<p><location>PITTSBURGH</location>, <chron>Jan. 26</chron> /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Executive Board of the United Steelworkers (USW) today reviewed an interim report submitted on behalf of the International Tellers on the <chron>November 2009</chron> election results. Although some outstanding issues remain in the District Six (Ontario and the Atlantic Provinces, <location>Canada</location>) election, the Board concluded that the resolution of these matters will not change the final result.</p>

<p>It is expected that the Tellers will soon recommend that <person>Wayne Fraser</person> be declared the winner and considered re-elected to a new four-year term as the District Six Director. The new term for the union's International officers and board begins on <chron>March 1, 2010</chron>.</p>
