MISSISSAUGA, ON, Aug. 17, 2017 /CNW/ - Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Metrolinx have issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to three shortlisted teams to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Hurontario Light Rail Transit project.
A request for qualifications issued in October 2016 shortlisted the top three teams based on their construction, design, operation and maintenance capability, experience, qualified personnel and financial capacity to deliver a project of this size and scope.
The shortlisted teams and their prime team members are:

Teams have been invited to respond to the RFP and will begin preparing proposals that detail how they will deliver the project. Upon evaluating the proposals received, IO and Metrolinx expect to award the contract in 2018.
A fairness monitor will oversee the entire procurement process.
