Metro Liberty Village Converts its Parking Lot into a Grassy Park to Host Movie Night
TORONTO, June 24, 2015 /CNW/ - More than 250 members of the Liberty Village community gathered under the summer sky to watch the 1971 classic Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Metro Liberty Village converted its parking lot into a park for the evening and handed out free blankets, popcorn, ice cream and refreshments. The evening is part of a series of events Metro will hold over the course of the summer to thank the community for their patience as the Liberty Village store is reformatted to serve customers better.
