Restaurants Canada welcomes throne speech commitment to economic growth
WINNIPEG, May 16, 2016 /CNW/ - On behalf of Manitoba's more than 2500 restaurants, bars and caterers, Restaurants Canada congratulates Manitoba's new government on its first Speech from the Throne and looks forward to working with all ministers and MLAs to help make Manitoba an even more successful and prosperous province for all its citizens.
"In this first throne speech so soon after the election, we particularly welcome the government's recognition that high taxes and red tape stifle both job creation and economic growth," said Dwayne Marling, Restaurants Canada's Manitoba-Saskatchewan Vice President. "We look forward to providing our insights and concerns as part of a team of leaders from business, labour and community agencies to identify and reduce red tape."
