Results of AGM - Appointment of New Director

VANCOUVER, Dec. 19, 2013 /CNW/ - Golden Dawn Minerals Inc., (TSXV: GOM) (FRANKFURT: 3G8N) (the "Company" or "Golden Dawn") is pleased to report that at its Annual General & Special Meeting, held on December 16, 2013,Wolf Wiese, Rita Tung and Dieter Benz were re-elected to the Board of Directors.  In addition, Percy Fahrbach was elected to the Board.  Frank Wright did not stand for re-election.  The Board would like to extend its sincere thanks to Mr. Wright for his long-time service and contribution to the Company.

We welcome Percy Fahrbach to our board.  Percy is CEO of Screen New Technologies, a company producing displays for the digital signage market especially for outdoor and extreme climate conditions. Prior to that, he was CEO of Gruner + Jahr International Publishing in New York, a Bertelsmann Group company. He also held various management positions with The Mc Graw Hill Companies in Europe. Percy has an MBA from Hochschule fuer Welthandel in Vienna.

Shareholders also approved the Company's stock option plan, the adoption of an Advanced Notice Policy and a 5:1 share consolidation.  The Company intends to proceed to conclude the share consolidation as soon as is practicable.
