Retail Council of Canada invites Toronto independent retailers to an evening of learning and inspiration on September 17
TORONTO, Sept. 16, 2015 /CNW/ - Toronto store-owners looking to sharpen their competitive edge are invited to an evening of learning and networking hosted by Retail Council of Canada (RCC), the country's go-to association for merchants. The event – the first in a cross-Canada series dubbed the MySTORE MySTORY fall roadshow – takes place Thursday, September 17 at The Spoke Club.
The roadshow series is designed for independent retailers to connect with peers, engage with industry experts and be inspired by the success story of a local retail entrepreneur. The Toronto event will feature a presentation by Kristy Wieber, Co-Founder and President of Rent Frock Repeat (rentfrockrepeat.com), an innovative retail concept that allows women to rent designer dresses at a fraction of the purchase cost.
Thursday's event, which begins at 6:00 pm ET with a reception, is free for RCC members, and $25 for non-members. Registration details are available at www.retailcouncil.org/mystoremystory/Toronto.
The MySTORE MySTORY roadshow series is presented by Moneris Solutions. The Toronto event is sponsored by RBC Royal Bank.
