Review of the Local Health System Integration Act, and the regulations made under it, as provided for in Section 39 of that Act

TORONTO, Dec. 13, 2013 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on Social Policy will meet to review the Local Health System Integration Act, and the regulations made under it, as provided for in Section 39 of that Act.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Fort Erie, Hamilton, London, Kitchener-Waterloo and Windsor during the week of January 27, 2014; in Sudbury and Thunder Bay during the week of February 3, 2014; and in Kingston and Champlain during the week of February 10, 2014.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation should contact the Clerk of the Committee by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2014.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the review may send written submissions to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014.
