Reynolds Announces Exclusive Agreement with BMW Group Canada
Reynolds to provide ERA-IGNITE dealership management system (DMS) to BMW and MINI retailers
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Jan. 27, 2017 /CNW/ -- Reynolds and Reynolds Canada and BMW Group Canada have announced a new, multi-year agreement that calls for Reynolds to provide the Reynolds ERA-IGNITE dealership management system (DMS) to all BMW and MINI retailers in Canada. The agreement builds on a 15-year technology partnership between the two companies.
ERA-IGNITE is a windows-based DMS designed to help automotive retailers work more efficiently in managing dealership operations and customer interactions. In Canada, ERA-IGNITE is the foundation of Reynolds Retail Management System, which supports a broad set of newer retailing tools for automotive retailers.
"The business pressures on automobile retailers continue to increase, from changing markets to changing consumer expectations for how cars are sold and serviced," said Ron Lamb, president of Reynolds and Reynolds. "Our product focus at Reynolds for the past decade has been to develop the tools and services that would help automotive retailers respond to those constantly changing pressures. ERA-IGNITE is one of the best examples. It was built from the ground up for automotive retailers and designed to improve overall business performance and the consumer experience at every interaction."
With ERA-IGNITE in place, BMW and MINI retailers in Canada will also have access to other advanced retailing tools from Reynolds. Those products include docuPAD® for F&I, as well as products in service, customer relationship management, and more insightful management reporting.
Ian Reilly, vice president of Sales for Reynolds Canada, added: "For more than 15 years, we've partnered with BMW Group Canada to provide BMW and MINI retailers with a reliable and highly effective DMS to meet their retailing needs. Now, with ERA-IGNITE, we can help BMW and MINI retailers improve even more the efficiency and effectiveness of their business operations and the consumer experience."
Lamb concluded: "Everyone at Reynolds is extremely proud of our ongoing relationship with BMW and MINI retailers and the new role we can play in supporting their ongoing success. We know that BMW and MINI customers have come to expect a premium experience from both brands. We're confident that our technology and services will help equip BMW and MINI retailers to deliver that experience, while also improving business performance."
