MONTREAL, Jan. 21, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The President and Chief Executive Officer of Richelieu, Mr. Richard Lord, announces that Mr. Robert Chevrier will step down as Chairman of the Board of Richelieu, a position he has held since April 2005, Richelieu having benefited from his counsel as Director since 1991. Mr. Chevrier has agreed to sit on Rona's Board as Executive Chairman.

Mr. Richard Lord also announces that Mr. Marc Poulin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sobeys Inc., will be elected as Director of Richelieu at the next Board meeting to be held on January 24, 2013. Holding an MBA and a Bachelor of Actuarial Sciences, Mr. Poulin has a wealth of experience in management, marketing and strategic merchandising in the retail industry, having held various senior management positions with Sobeys Québec Inc. over the past twelve years, and previously for eight years with Provigo Distribution.
