CALGARY, April 19, 2017 /CNW/ - On May 27th, 2017 The Toni Kohn-Woodward Foundation will host its 3rd annual TONI'S RIDE, a multi spin studio fundraiser with over 275 participants, raising much needed funds and awareness to support local programs that serve young women at risk. We are bringing the community together to ride for young women struggling to find their way, to empower them to use exercise and fitness as a platform to build self-worth, confidence and strength, so they can live their best life.
The following studios have rallied together to champion this event: Core Spin Studio, HotShop – Silverado and Varsity, Soul Studios, Stax Cycle Club, The Sweat Lab, and YYC Cycle - Avenida, Kensington and Marda Loop.
As the need now is greater than ever, The Toni Kohn-Woodward Foundation has set an ambitious goal to raise $50,000 in support of those in greatest need. In addition to the financial support, this unique fundraiser will provide extended enrichment opportunities throughout the year, supporting a powerful journey as the girls take charge of their bodies through sport and fitness.
Tickets for Toni's Ride are $25 per bike, with the option for riders to crowd fund. The Toni Kohn-Woodward Foundation will be offering the top fundraiser at each studio a year membership at the participating studio.
