SAGUENAY, QC, 19 Oct. 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Rio Tinto is expanding its long-term partnership with Canadian firm CGI to further boost the performance of its aluminium operations in Atlantic through the use of advanced data analytics and information technology systems.
CGI will provide specialised support to Rio Tinto's Aluminium Operational Centre in the Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean region over the next four years, under contracts worth around CAD $30 million.

The partnership will focus on developing new tools and systems to support operators at the Aluminium Operational Centre in the Saguenay by using predictive mathematics, machine learning and advanced data modelling.
