"The demand for equipment and farmland is as strong as it's ever been," said Simon Wallan, Vice President of Agricultural Sales in Canada, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. "While some farmers are looking to retire or downsize, many more are looking to upgrade their fleets and increase the size of their farm. Our job is to provide a fair, open and honest marketplace that's easy for both buyers and sellers. With more than 60 auctions in 37 days there will be a wide variety of equipment and farmland for buyers to choose from. Equipment will be sold for hundreds of owners in the upcoming Canadian agricultural auctions, including a land lease and a large selection of equipment for Louac Farms Ltd., based in Osler, SK.
"We will be selling tractors, combines, swathers and sprayers, along with a selection of trucks and other farm equipment—all of the equipment is late model and well-maintained," said Kyle Klassen, owner of Louac Farms Ltd. "I've sold with Ritchie Bros. in the past and for me it all comes down to exposure.
