"As with every Ritchie Bros. auction, every single item will be sold on auction day without minimum bids or reserve prices—the bidders set the prices, not us, nor the sellers. The auction is open to the public and it's free to register. We welcome interested buyers to come visit the site today or any day leading up to the auction to check out all the equipment, trucks and RVs first hand."
Recreational vehicle highlights include 200+ travel trailers (85+ of which are unused, including a 2013 Dutchmen Kodiak 31 ft T/A travel trailer & a 2012 Dutchmen Komfort 33 ft T/A fifth wheel travel trailer) and 50 motor homes (including a 2007 Forest River Charleston 4100 Class A 41 Ft S/A motor home). Equipment in the auction will be sold for 650+ sellers, including a large selection of heavy construction equipment for Montreal, QC-based Vaillant Enterprise.
"We are selling close to 40 pieces of surplus equipment in the auction so we can use that capital to buy the right equipment for our current and upcoming projects," said Gilles Gauthier, owner and president of Vaillant Enterprise. "I've been buying and selling with Ritchie Bros. for a long time. I don't like equipment sitting in our yard not being used because it's not the right size or configuration—better for us to bring it to Ritchie Bros. and then buy the equipment we need. I'm also a regular buyer at Ritchie Bros., from auctions in Western Canada, the United States and in Montreal. I may end up selling 40 pieces of equipment this week and buying five or six, we'll see."
