Riva Awarded Million Dollar Contract by Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission for Asset Investment Planning
TORONTO, July 13, 2012 /CNW/ - Ian Woodbury, President and CEO of Riva Modeling Systems Inc., today announced the award of a major software contract from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) for the supply of software and services to automate their asset management and capital planning program. This is the latest step in a multi-year asset management program by WSSC to apply asset management principles to investment decision making.
The award follows a RFP process where WSSC evaluated competitive offerings available in the marketplace.

Riva's Asset Investment Planning software is used by clients throughout North America and Asia Pacific. It builds asset life cycle plans, allowing clients to optimize asset spending and manage asset risk. Riva's solution integrates with client ERP systems, Maintenance Management systems and GIS to deliver a continuously up-to-date, long-term capital plan to the enterprise.
The project is starting in July 2012 and will complete by early 2013. RJN Group and Latis Associates will be assisting Riva in the implementation, providing local experience and expertise in water and waste water assets.
