RJK Begins Drilling at Blackwater East, Files a NI 43-101 Report Covering the Blackwater East & West Claim Groups
KIRKLAND LAKE, ON, Feb. 14, 2012 /CNW/ - RJK Explorations Ltd. (RJX.A: TSV) ("RJK") is pleased to report that the Company has now initiated it's first phase 2,000 meter diamond drill program on the Blackwater East Gold Property in the Blackwater Gold District, located approximately 100 km southwest of Vanderhoof in Central B.C. The Blackwater East property is contiguous to New Gold Inc.'s Blackwater -Davidson multi-million ounce gold deposit.
In addition, RJK has filed a NI 43-101 Technical Report for the Blackwater East and West Claim groups on SEDAR as well as posting it to the Company's website.
RJK also announces that it has added Ian Webster, P.Geo, to the exploration team working on its Blackwater Gold properties. Ian has been involved in the mineral exploration industry since 1982 and has extensive experience in northern BC and Manitoba. He spent 20 years with the BC Geological Survey in regional mapping; mineral deposit studies and on the BC mineral database MINFILE. In addition, Ian worked 5 years as BC Inspector of Mines, Permitting. His formal education consists of Brock University - B.Sc.Honours Geology (1988), Brock University - B.A. Geography (1977) and U.B.C. - Forest Engineering Diploma (2000).
