Roadking Travel Centres Inc. Announces Resignation of Director

CALGARY, May 4 /CNW/ - Roadking Travel Centres Inc. ("Roadking" or the "Company") regrettably announces today that that Glen Hommy has tendered his resignation as a Director of the Corporation effective May 3, 2010. At this point, the remaining Directors of the Corporation do not propose to fill the vacancy on the Board of Directors. The Company would like to sincerely thank Mr. Hommy for his passion and vision in navigating Roadking though very tumultuous times in the travel centre industry.

The Company will continue to seek out new business opportunities designed to maximize shareholder value and intend to apply for listing with the Exchange as a Tier 2 issuer, if and when such requirements are met.
